Stained Memories is a series of cyanotypes on Japanese paper (Awagami), where the surface shifts through exposure and washing. The material tears, stains, and fades, holding the image in a state of change. Figures appear and recede, reflecting memory as something partial and unstable within the diaspora. Water acts as both maker and disruptor, shaping what remains. The work considers how histories are carried, altered, and felt over time.
